Everyone reached goal of 1,000 kicks for Bridges Safehouse
Kick-a-thon for Bridges
On March 2, 2012 thirty-seven students assembled
to prove their care for other people by kicking 1,000 kicks
for Bridges Safehouse.
Bridges Safehouse provides crisis housing for homeless pregnant women. While the women are residing there, they receive much more than mere shelter. Bridges provides counseling, helps enroll eligible women for medical and nutritional care, and provides a safe, loving environment.
Our students had been training for weeks to build up to 1,000 kicks in a row. Sponsors were enlisted to make tax-deductible flat rate donations or to donate a per kick amount.
Every student reached their goal of 1,000 kicks.
Thank you to all of our students, parents, and sponsors who made this such a marvelous success!
